I was a trauma surgeon in Vietnam in 1971. We had an RPG lodged in the RUQ of a soldier. Unknown number of spins. Fortunately, we were able to remove without harm to us or him. I can really appreciate the "terror" that one feels, and at the same time, the adrenalin rush in doing this. My greatest respect for their efforts.
