Photography is one of my hobbies and, while surfing, I came across a picture of the inauguration that I had to pass along.
From this article at CrunchGear.com, check out this 1.5 GIGApixel picture of Obama’s inauguration speech. That’s 1500 MEGApixels. It isn’t as impressive until you begin to zoom in. Then zoom in some more. Then some more. Amazing. Can you find Bruce Springsteen? Rush Limbaugh? Then check out George HW Bush’s stylin’ tuque.
Then there are a couple of more boring pictures from my humble abode.
You know it’s cold out when you open up the refrigerator in the garage and you see this:
At least the Red Bulls are safe. I’m leaving the clean-up until Spring, dammit.
why didn’t the red bulls explode? Times are tough and all but I’d just have to throw that toxic fridge away. Major major yuck..hope your tetanus is current.

but nothing like that…..
It could be worse. My cold winter surprise this year is a raccoon living in the window well under my deck. I can’t get under the deck until it warms up because I will have to take some boards off and that’s just a bad idea when it’s really cold out. So, little raccoon has a place to stay for now. I just hope it doesn’t contract rabies.
WC you are too old to be drinking Red Bulls…
This happens to my in-laws all the time…except they intentionally put them in the freezer to make them cold fast, but they forget about them all too often. Frozen Diet Coke shards everywhere.
That was an amazing picture with awesome zoom capabilities. I thought it was a satellite pic at first, but if it had been..I could’ve actually read the music sheets.

A college friend who now works in DC said he was there about a dozen rows behind Michelle Obama.
I was able to find him in the pic. Way cool!

Thanks for posting access to the inauguration photo amalgam. It’s fascinating people-watching during such a moment in time. I like the dependability of little kids bored and gorked out, drooling on adult shoulders…

hahahaha great picture! I had Dr Pepper explode in my car about ten years back. Taught me to never leave soda in the car during winter again.
The Red Bull’s might have been spared, but there is much better glucose to drink down – green Monster Energy (original formula) taste way better than Red Bull. If you haven’t tried them yet, give them a try.
