“I tried to think of a witty comment to this story … but I was stumped.” So begins the comments section to the story about a Washington man who was rushed to the emergency department after cutting off his arm with a homemade guillotine. While the story is sad, many of the comments are amusing … in a morbid kind of way.
A picture of the actual guillotine is here.
Then there’s this article about whether the patient may have Body Integrity Identity Disorder. A related story describes a man who wanted to cut his arm off with a table saw but who lost his … nerve.
Aaaaugh. Make it stop.

Now if he gives his leg, he’ll have paid his taxes !
Maybe I missed something …but, why did he build a guillotine? I’m sorry it happened to him, but what a SEVER ely dangerous thing to do. That would be one relationship I’d be ready to sever.
I’m sure he thought it would be hArmless
Come on, people, cut it out now. It’s a tragedy, no matter how you slice it …
While the debate on circarmcision rages on, we know which side this man stands on.
I looked awful silly laughing so hard at these comments and then, I tried to explain…

“Hey Ya’ll ! Watch THIS !”
