Life vs. Blogging

The past week has been extraordinarily busy, but I just wanted to drop a quick post to let everyone know that I haven’t quit the blogging scene.

Let’s see …
I’ve worked 36 hours, lectured, accompanied a sick friend to the doctor’s office (got a post in my head about that already), attended a two day dance competition (daughter’s team won a gold medal), met with school principal about one of my other daughter’s teachers being bullied (kids in her class repeatedly made fun of her child with Down Syndrome to the point that she broke down and cried in front of her class – and no one was willing to stick up for the teacher), played IT professional with computer at home that just stopped working, worked on a couple of time-sensitive issues with my other job, and yesterday had a “Driving Miss Daisy” kind of day making 8 different car trips to pick kids up and drop kids off throughout the day.
Still more stuff to finish, but did get a couple of short posts together both here and on the Medbloggers site.
I apologize in advance if I don’t respond to e-mails right away for the next few days.

    Hey Whitecoat,
Im hoping you see this post as this blog entry makes me wonder what your schedule at work is like. How often do you work and when did you reach the capability of being able to have more contol over your shift choices? It seems like you have plenty of time for family and work!
