My boys have managed to escape that…but not the girls. And the second one had a recurrence because the parents of the girl who spread them in the first place didn’t do what they should have. It was a hot mess. My oldest had them and they were just falling of her head…I had not noticed itching or anything and it was just nasty.

I have never heard of an injection for that…I used the standard pyrethrin and then, my Gram’s treatment. Vaseline and a shower cap for 24 hours- Done. Combing was a breeze, no more screaming. Dish detergent for shampoo. Anxiolytics…I’ll remember that..:)
