My granddaughter was sitting on our stone wall and we were just hanging out talking. It wasn’t long before she said, “Eww an ant is on me! ANOTHER Ant!” Then she jumped up …totally skeeved, “OH No ..there’s a LOT of ants on me!”

Fortunately, she didn’t get bitten. It turns out that there was an ant nest under the slate she was sitting on.

At least we don’t have to deal with fire ants up north.

And I would’ve shrieked in the ED if ants were crawling on my fingers, etc. (Then laughed later :)

Conscious sedation anyone?
